Carreale

Some months ago we were asked to participate, next to some other girls, on a photo-shoot for the Lookbook of Carreale, a Boston based online store. We immediately loved the idea because the main concept of the store is to "empower women through fashion", and we're all about women power!

These were some of the unedited photos they took of us, and that we're able to show you. The colorful background is a mural located in Cambridge. Paintings and graffitis usually last less than a week there. Every time we go, it's a whole different mural. It's always changing so it never gets boring, and it's perfect for pictures.

We hadn't seen these pictures until now, so we're very excited to share them with you!

Summer Love

Summer is finally here!! But, of course in Boston is windy and rainy so instead of staying locked up the whole day, we went outside and enjoyed the day as much as we could.

Anyways, I absolutely love dresses. They are particularly made for girls, so I kinda feel special wearing them. Every single one that I own, I adore! BUT this one is definitely my favorite. I can play around with it and when the wind blows: ohhh, it's magical!!!! I just can't put in words how much I love this dress!!  they say "A picture is worth a thousand words" and I'm showing you 8 ;) hahaha

At the end of the day, the wind was sooo strong that it literally pulled my dress up and.....the rest is history..... hahahah oh well another story to tell!!

I hope everyone is having a great week!!

Shinji's Sky-Blue Bike

Angela and I have been thinking about buying bikes for the summer. Luckily, our friends let us use theirs in the meantime. We want to take advantage of the weather, exercise, and even save some bucks on public transportation!

This sky-blue bike is Shinji's, a very cool Japanese friend of ours who has great sense of style and obviously the coolest bike I've seen! Learning how to use his bike was a little suicidal because it has no gears, but I'm getting there...

Shinji just graduated and is soon leaving Boston. We're going to try to steal his passport before that happens miss him so much!

On another note, What do you think about my Converse? I glued studs and Swarovski charms on them yesterday. I think they look badass!

Black and White

Hello Girls!! I hope everyone is having a great Memorial weekend. In our case, we went to The kooks concert!! It was great , now we both have a crush on the vocalist ( Luke Pritchard ) hehehe.
I've always had a thing for black and white. I think they perfectly match even though the colors are the total opposite. That's why the first time I saw this black and white brogues, I thought: I have to have them ! You can call it love at first sight <3 so now they have a special place on my shoe collection.
Some of you guys asked us where we bought the bracelets from this post, and sadly they are from a store in Venezuela. So we looked for a store here, in America, and I'm delighted to tell you that we found it! It doesn't have the same exact designs but they are pretty close. The store is called GOLDhearted and they have very chic and elegant jewelry ! I love all of their selection.
What do you guys think about my swiss cross necklace? I have worn it on previous posts but let me tell you I absolutely love it!It goes with everything, so Amazing!!!! You are definitely going to see it a lot <3
I hope everyone is having a great weekend

Books and Liquor

About two weekends ago, we got to meet Emily Xie, a very cool Harvard student and Boston Blogger.
She is one of the faces behind Booksandliquor, a street style blog. She goes around Harvard Square and Harvard University taking pictures of people that attract her attention.
Finding out about Booksandliquor was so refreshing. Looking at all the pictures they have of so many different people with so many different styles is very inspirational. So, if you want to feel inspired for some minutes, and look at awesome pictures with beautiful Harvard backgrounds, definitely check out the blog!
We also selected these photos because we wanted to show you the details of our White Moth jewelry (we introduced you to this brand back in the Stylefixx Event post): Angela's Swiss cross necklace and my Russian stamp bracelet. We just love how she used both silver and gold on these pieces. We've been wearing them non-stop.
Hope you enjoy looking through Emily's blog ;)

Colors

Goldie London Shirt, Alex and Ani Bangles, Lotus Mendes Ring, Aloha ContactsUrban Outfitters Shorts, Jeffrey Campbell Sandals.
The weather has been amazing this weekend. Couldn't wait for it to be warm so I could wear this sheer white shirt from Goldie London. It is asymmetrical like the last red skirt I posted about, and it's made out of the same material. It's just perfect for summer!

On another note... NO, I don't have blue/green eyes. I wish! But I try to get as close as I can. I searched for a pair of good colored contact lenses, and found these from Aloha Contacts. They are pretty comfortable and blend very well with my eye color. We didn't use Photoshop to change the color of the pictures, so this is how they actually look. I'm thinking about buying some more colors, because these are just not enough.

If you liked my shirt, and Angela's dress from this post, then stay with us because we will soon host a Giveaway for you ladies!

We have been busy with school and tests, appart from that everything is great! How was your weekend?

besos,
AB
