Black + Brown

I don't know what it is about black and brown together that makes me just feel butterflies in my stomach. I love the combination of the two, and can't help but to fall in love with any pair of shoes that is made up of the two colors. I think these are perfection.
I'd also like to mention my love for the thick heel. I think it's amazing.

I know some people don't like mixing black and brown, and think they don't match together. Do you feel the same way?

By the way, can't wait to show you guys the new rings I got. I think you're going to love them! They're unlike any other thing I've seen...

see you very soon,

The City Nails - 2 Awards!!

I was about to post about this nail design I did last night, until I found out that we won 2 awards (the "versatile blogger" award, and the "thanks for your gorgeous blog" award) from! awesome news! I'm too excited, but I'll talk about that in a while.

So, getting back to business. Yesterday, I was looking at pictures of Boston at night, and thought it would have been a great idea for a nail design. I am really into neon colors against black, so I chose to do the outline of the buildings in a hot pink/neon pink color. I really liked the outcome, so I took some pictures of it from different angles, so you guys would see how it really looks like. My favorite picture, of course, is the first one. There you can see all the little details on the nails.
Let me know what you guys think about this nail design and if you like it.

Awesome Nail-Polish Holder

I have had this nail-polish holder in my head for about a year now, and finally own it!
It's made out of a very strong clear acrylic material, and holds up to 60 nail-polish bottles. I need to buy more nail polishes because the whole back row is empty.

I am so excited about this, because I used to throw all my nail-polishes into a drawer and never had them this organized. I also just found out some of my nail-polishes had dried out after sitting in the darkest corner of my drawer, and had to throw them away.

Maybe I'll buy another one once I start running out of space for my new nail-polishes. I think it serves as great decoration for my room!

Don't you guys think this is a great idea? I encourage you to buy it (if you don't have one already) because it makes it easier to decide on what color to use next time you want to polish your nails, and it also saves up space.
Let me know what you think!

Side Note: I just wanted to let you guys know about an awesome giveaway that is doing. More than 20 nail polishes are being given away, plus some other nail supplies! Just thought you guys would be interested in participating! Good luck!

Hi, from 2012! New Jewelry

This is our first 2012 post! wow!

Sorry about that, we've both been busy spending time with our families back home, and haven't had the time to post at all.

I just wanted to show you these pretty bracelets I bought at a local store here in Venezuela while looking for presents. I bought these two for a friend, but wanted to show them to you before giving them away (I hope she doesn't see this post before). I love the contrast between the blue and the pink together against the skin (we both have brown/tanned skin colors, which make those colors pop a lot).

I also wanted to show you my new bunny ring! isn't it adorable? It always gives me the impression that it is hopping in between my fingers. I love it!

Thank you guys for your lovely New Year wishes on the last post! And I wish you all a wonderful 2012!
